6. Connect with partners

Who is already working on the problem?

  1. You and your supporters are probably not the only ones who care about the problem you have identified. There may be other groups already working on it. Do some research into the problem and see if any organizations are already running campaigns. For example, if you are working on climate change you can connect with organizations like Fridays for Future, Greenpeace, or even UNICEF. Write down the organizations you find. Now ask yourself, can I join forces with them? Is there anything I can learn from them?
  2. There is another kind of partner too, groups that are not campaigning organizations, but who also care about your problem, and who your target might listen to, like religious leaders, scientists, universities, or business leaders. Can you think of anyone like this? If so, write them down.
