Safe mourning at gathering sites
After a BVD-related death, mourners gathering to support the family must also protect themselves:
✅ DO: Wash hands frequently with soap and water.
✅ DO: Maintain distance from others — avoid embracing, hugging, or handshaking.
❌ DO NOT: Touch the body or open the body bag.
❌ DO NOT: Share food, drinks, or dishes between mourners.
❌ DO NOT: Dip hands into a shared, stagnant basin of water.
❌ DO NOT: Have close physical contact (hugging, kissing faces) with other mourners.
