TIPS AND TOYS YOU CAN USE FOR 6 - 9 MONTH OLD BABIES

• Ask a question patiently, if no answer then ask an easier question

• Ensure objects to play are safe and clean

• Say your baby’s name regularly. She/he will try to reach out to the person calling

• Avoid loud noises as it may scare babies

• Smile as much as possible and give comfort and confidence

• Always give your child clean and safe household items to play with

• Make picture books to help babies develop curiosity and learning

• Make puppets out of socks, marker pens and buttons

• Homemade puzzles help babies learn about shapes, forms and colors
